Do they ever update this game anymore?

I used to love this game. Im a long-time player from the days of the original developer. They clearly cared and updated the game all the time and worked to fix problems. This new company hasnt done anything in two years with the exception of one release of new critters. Havent been able to watch videos to get bonus gems in over a year, "a known issue theyre working on", and now I cant visit my neighbors trees either. No new critters and no new tree expansions. Other than collecting tree food, there is nothing left to do. Bored and disappointed. Goodbye Tree World; you used to be a good game.
